Advancing the future ITS environment requires continuous dialogue between internal and external stakeholders and engagement in the planning process. Opportunities for stakeholder involvement will increase in the years ahead, through the V2I Deployment Coalition, Test Beds and Pilots, ITS JPO Professional Capacity Building (PCB) events, and knowledge and technology transfer of results from the CV Pilots and Smart City Challenge deployments.
