Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Signal Technician I City of Tempe Two years experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic control devices, preferably including traffic signal systems. Equivalent to completion of 12th grade supplemented by specialized training in electronics or degree related to the core function of this position. An Associate of Applied Science in Electronics degree is highly desirable.
Senior Engineering Technician City of Fort Worth Associate Degree in Engineering, or related field and five years of increasingly responsible engineering experience in areas of traffic engineering, traffic signals, ITS, and communications technology.
ITS Technician Central Ohio Transit Authority Some college and three years of experience with Motorola radio and intelligent transportation systems hardware.
Traffic Systems Technician I Texas DOT Two years of related experience and a high school diploma required.

Electrician/Electronics Technician Washington State DOT Work on various electrical and ITS equipment including traffic signal systems, variable message signs, CCTV, Active Traffic Management (ATM), data stations, lighting, communications including wireless, ramp meters, and various other traffic systems.
Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Signal Technician I City of Tempe Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain traffic signal control devices, ITS/Communication systems, and auxiliary equipment including analog, digital, wireless, electronic, and microprocessor equipment.
Senior Engineering Technician City of Fort Worth Program traffic signal controllers, set up traffic signal controllers and cabinets for new intersections or existing signalized intersections, assist engineering staff in the implementation of signal timing or signal timing adjustments, perform before and after studies.
ITS Technician Central Ohio Transit Authority Maintain, replace, troubleshoot, and monitor the production-level performance of hardware components within core intelligent transportation systems (including Motorola radios, Trapeze Mobile Data Terminals, GPS antennas, and wireless LAN equipment.
Traffic Systems Technician I Texas DOT Entry-level activities related to installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of traffic systems, communications, and illumination and/or data collection devices/systems.
