The U.S. Department of Transportation to Host the Access and Mobility for All Summit

On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will host the Access and Mobility for All Summit from 1:00 to 5:00 pm ET at its headquarters in Washington, DC.

The summit is intended to raise awareness of DOT and government-wide efforts to improve access and mobility for people with disabilities, older adults, and individuals of low income.
It will offer an opportunity to learn about and provide input on federal and non-federal actions to support expanded access to mobility through new vehicle technologies and emerging service models, with a focus on surface transportation.

The summit will include keynote remarks from Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao and discussions with leaders across academia, industry, and government, as well as a showcase of innovations enabling expanded access to mobility for people with disabilities.

Register by Wednesday, October 23, 2019, to attend in person or by Monday, October 28, 2019, to join the webcast.
