The U.S. Department of Transportation to Host Pre-Solicitation Webinar on the Work Zone Data Exchange Demonstration Grants

The U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) is hosting a free pre-solicitation webinar on a planned Notice of Funding Opportunity for Work Zone Data Exchange (WZDx) Demonstration Grants. The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm ET. 

BACKGROUND

This webinar will provide information and accept questions regarding the WZDx Demonstration Grants Program. The purpose of this research program is to increase the safety of the traveling public through the production of consistent public work zone data feeds across jurisdictions. The program plans to provide one-time funding for public roadway operators to make unified work zone data feeds available for use by third parties and collaborate on WZDx specification development.
