ITS and Safety Smart Community Resource Center (SCRC): ITS and Safety

The Safe System Approach has been embraced by the transportation community as an effective way to address and mitigate the risks inherent in our complex surface transportation system. It is a comprehensive approach that provides a guiding framework to make places safer for people. The Smart Community Resource Center (SCRC) includes a repository of resources — including short micro-learning videos — that demonstrate the role ITS plays in the safe system approach.
